For years, Atlanta’s True ‘Cue has
been known for it’s outstanding, fully-catered events in town, around
the Southeast, even overseas. What began as a family
tradition grew in size and popularity, and this year, having grown
to handle five and six thousand person events, we are proud to be
named Atlanta’s Best Caterer by Creative Loafing. For those who
wanted the same LowCountry quality and mouthwatering recipes, but
did not need the full-service treatment, the owners established
LowCountry Barbecue Express Catering and Carryout. Here’s
how it all began...

Entrepreneur and founder of LowCountry
Barbecue Catering, Bennett Brown III started cooking whole pigs
on the pit when he was fifteen years old. The age-old Brown
family recipe hails from Williamsburg County, South Carolina, and
is the foundation of our exceptional tastes! And like
all good recipes, ours is kept under lock and key.
Vice President Johnny Ham has been with LowCountry
for eleven years and has seen the company grow from only two employees
to a corporation with twenty full-time and fifty part-time employees.
In response to overwhelming demand,
Bennett Brown, with the help of Johnny Ham and Steve Margeson, opened
the Express Catering and Carryout location on Collier Road in September
of 1998. LowCountry Barbecue Express is proud to state that since
that time, our corporate and residential client base has nearly
tripled. So, be it an on-site cooking extravaganza for
2000 folks, an office delivery for 40 or a carryout for yourself,
the ever service-oriented staff of LowCountry Barbecue can assist
you with all your needs.
